Project Description

The addition created 8,815 new seats: 7,076 grandstand seats; 1,155 Scoreboard Club seats; 236 loge seats; 22 suites with 288 seats; 60 field-level suite seats; and ADA compliant seating. A non-seated, field-level area, The Gridiron, provides club-like, high-end amenities and the visiting team locker room. A new high-definition video board, among the largest in college athletics, was erected. The concourse under the west stands was renovated with the addition of four high-capacity elevators, more restrooms and concession facilities and a brick façade. For media, a new compound allowing network broadcast trucks to connect to stadium equipment via underground cable runs was established. This project included over 65,000 ft of plumbing / piping; 222,000 pounds of duct work/sheet metal; 25,000 cy of cast-in-place concrete; 1,685 cy structural pre-cast concrete; 2,800 cy of architectural pre-cast concrete; 180,000 CMU blocks; 2,500 tons rebar; 650 tons structural steel; 930,000 feet of electrical wire; and 500,000 feet of communications wire.
