Project Description

The RAC team worked around the clock to complete this project in less than nine months. The project involved adding 50,000 square feet of gaming floor while simultaneously renovating the existing 40,000-square-foot gaming floor and relocating and reconfiguring both cage and gaming positions, while minimizing the impact on gaming operations. The project presented unique permitting challenges, as it is located both on sovereign Seminole land and Seminole-owned off-trust land within the City of Coconut Creek. Aligning this project with the City of Coconut Creek’s overall environmental consciousness, the new seven-level pre-cast parking structure was designed to attain LEED® Silver Certification. Project features include: Expanded and renovated high-limit gaming area and full-service poker room / A new player’s club area / A new deli and two full-service restaurants / An existing sprung structure converted from gaming to an event center / A 2,400-space, seven-level parking garage with rainwater collection systems, electric car-charging stations and modular planting trellis systems.

“The Roy Anderson team not only produced a quality product on schedule, they provided the logistics support which allowed the facility to maintain a minimum impact to customers and of lost revenues to the operating facility. The project team was very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make this project a success.”
