Roy Anderson Corp. Announces Three Projects Valued at $67 Million

GULFPORT, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil, building and specialty construction company, today announced three new projects that have been recently awarded to its subsidiary, Roy Anderson Corp. Project details are provided below.

Two Hotel Projects at Liberty Station (Hampton Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites), San Diego, California
Owner: LSH 1, LLC and LSH 2, LLC, a partnership of InterMountain Management and McMillin Companies
Combined Contract Value: Approx. $50 Million

Located on a former Naval Training Center, these distinct hotels will be characterized by the unique military history of the site and its proximity to the San Diego International Airport, the Gaslamp Quarter, the San Diego Convention Center and San Diego Bay. Hampton Inn & Suites will be four stories comprising 181 rooms and 96,795 square feet (sf). TownePlace Suites will be five stories comprising 222 rooms and 133,316 sf. Work on these projects is already underway and project completion is expected in the spring of 2019.

Contract Value: Approx. $17 Million

The Hall of Democracy, located in the heart of the National WWII Museum’s campus, will be a 34,800 sf pavilion dedicated to the Museum’s research, WWII content, expertise and outreach to visitors, educators, students and scholars around the world. This pavilion will make the Museum’s extensive digitized collection of oral histories, photographs, artifacts and archives more accessible to the public through new online and learning initiatives. The pavilion will house a special exhibits gallery; the Institute for the Study of War and Democracy, a growing hive of WWII historical expertise; a WWII Media and Education Center with production studios and broadcast capabilities for the editing, production and dissemination of the Museum’s digital assets and programs; and a library that will support research and public engagement. Work on this project is expected to start in late January or early February 2018, and substantial completion is anticipated in the summer of 2019.

The above contract values have been added to the Company’s backlog in the fourth quarter of 2017.
