This contract is to provide the general mechanical and electrical installation to support the J-2X engine testing on the A-3 Test Stand. Included in this contract is an elevator, and the procurement delivery handling, installation and check out of the engine lift hoist. This component includes the foundations, cables, pulleys, hooks, hardware and controls to make a fully functional hoist system. Other aspects of this project are concrete slabs and piers for piping systems support, three pipe trenches under roadways, two large concrete foundations for the Chemical Steam Generator units with the installation of nine units, and fabrication and installation of dock leveling assemblies and platforms at the Liquid Hydrogen and Liquid Oxygen docks. Electrical power systems include wiring, conduits/cableways, switchgear, lighting and grounding systems. Scope of work includes procurement, fabrication, installation, cleaning, testing of piping systems, pipe components, pipe supports and equipment for the helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, air, alcohol, water systems and vacuum jacketed pipe systems.
