This design-build LEED Gold Certified building serves as a training center for our nation’s soldiers and is used to conduct and analyze computer simulation experiments for a variety of training applications. The one-story facility is comprised of a structural steel frame skinned with brick veneer and a standing seam metal roof. It houses numerous computer simulation labs and classrooms, an auditorium, and administrative space. The Simulation Labs include a complex network infrastructure to provide secure connectivity for classified experiments. In addition, the inclusion of numerous operable partitions, raised access flooring, and projectors that can be re-located will allow users the flexibility to configure room sizes and utilities as training needs dictate. Additional scope included abatement and demolition of ten small buildings.
