This 12,200 fixed seat arena is the primary home of the Bossier-Shreveport Mud Bugs minor league hockey team. This 268,000 square foot facility is complete with an ice floor, ice plant, dressing rooms, restrooms, concession areas, administrative offices and 16 VIP suites, each of which has a private restroom and wet bar. The structure consists of over 11,000 cubic yards of poured in place concrete with a composite veneer of precast panels, glass curtain walls, and insulated metal panels. Site work included a 4,100 car parking lot.

This project had some unusual and difficult components. In particular was the extensive and challenging layout required due to the geometry of the arena. The grid lines were in an oval configuration with column lines projecting out from the center of the arena. All walls were skewed and there is not a square room in the building.

This project was awarded a Mississippi Associated Builders and Contractors Merit Award for Out-of-State Construction.
