A negotiated project, the Westin Resort sits on 11 acres with 301 hotel rooms in the Legacy Parkway Area of Frisco, Texas. This 5-story structure is over 285,000 sq. ft. and has a concrete frame with a stone and EIFS exterior and an aluminum storefront glass system. The Westin has all of the amenities of a resort including a golf pro shop, full service spa, lagoon style swimming pool with a waterfall and water slide. The chairman’s suite is 1,800 sq. ft. along with 14 other specialty suites. A full service kitchen serves the guests in the hotel and also in the convention center. The 45,000 sq. ft. steel frame convention center contains six small and three large meeting rooms, a mini and a main ballroom, and an auditorium. The property overlooks a Tom Fazio designed 18 hole golf course. The Westin Resort was completed in 18 months.
