Bacaran Bay Casino Resort Selects Contractor
BILOXI, Miss., July 6, 2005 – Torguson Gaming Group, Inc., announced today that it has selected local contractor, Roy Anderson Corp, as the builder of its Bacaran Bay Casino Resort and condominiums.

He has constructed millions of square feet of gaming and hospitality facilities and is one of the largest and most dependable contractors locally and in the United States ,” said Torguson Gaming Group Inc.’s Founder and CEO, Marlin F. Torguson.
It is anticipated that over 4,500,000 man-hours will be expended in the construction of Bacaran Bay Casino Resort with over 35,000,000 pounds of structural steel and over 160,000 cubic yards of concrete being used throughout the project. Additionally, designers have said that the project will contain over 600,000 sq. ft. of tile flooring, 700,000 sq. ft. of concrete block, 2,000,000 sq. ft of carpet, and 250,000 sq. ft. of glass. The resort will also have over 11,000 doors and 35 elevators.

Bacaran Bay Casino Resort, a $500 million project, will be owned and operated by Torguson Gaming Group, Inc. and is expected to break ground later this year. The resort will be situated on 12 acres on the west side of Caillavet Street in Biloxi . Bacaran Bay will feature 75,000 sq. ft. of gaming with 1,800 slots and 50 table games, seven restaurants, a full-service 18,000 sq. ft. spa, salon and fitness center, four acres of pool decks, six movie theaters, a 40-lane bowling center, a 4,000-seat entertainment venue, Palmer’s Run, an off-site Arnold Palmer signature 18-hole championship golf course, a 15,000 sq. ft. Shopping Esplanade, two wedding chapels, kids activity center, and over 80,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
