This project consisted of a complete renovation of the existing 16-floor, 260,000 sf office building originally built in 1947 and the construction of a 16-floor, 150,000 sf addition and parking garage. Combined, these facilities housed the Governors office and administrative areas. It was a critical factor the limestone exterior of the new addition match the limestone on the original building. Interior finishes included marble and granite floors, and marble walls and column covers. Extensive architectural millwork was required including “Angere” paneling throughout the Governor’s floors.
